Bloody Robots, Snow Globes, and a Fat Superman.

Catwoman #65 is another exciting issue in the Pfeifer run.  This story is a fun conclusion to the “Paperweight” arc.  I was surprised to see Luther’s robot in the fight, but he was no match for Selina (especially after he threatened her kid).

I laughed when she met up with Superman.  Of course, she was in his city and he was not very happy. The art showing the Superman was not very good.  Superman looked fat.  I thought it looked terrible, in fact.  But the writing more than made up for it with the funniest quote in a while:

Catwoman to Superman:  “…why don’t you leave me alone and go make yourself useful?  Leap over a tall building or something.”  People don’t generally talk that way to the man of steel and get away with it–but Selina did and it worked.
