I picked up Cat Woman #53 with a large assortment of comics that I’ve recently been adding to my collection.  Being the most current of all of the books I received, I was compelled to read it and was pleasantly surprised.

I have never read Cat Woman, and actually not knowing to much of the story from Batman, I didn’t have much back ground.  Cat Woman was a villain in the ’60s Batman TV series–I thought.  So, OK, somewhere along the line she became a good guy (girl).  Being the only one I own, I need to find the part two of the comic–I may even add her to my pull list…I thought it was that good.  I like the minor character stories–sometimes they seem to be better because they don’t have to uphold a great tradition or support the entire DCU story lines. 

Cat Woman #53 is a good read.
