Late last year, when I was setting up my office, I put my Superman figure on the shelf, but put the Batman away.  I’m not sure why I did that. I think I put Batman away because I wanted to focus almost entirely on Superman at the time.  Though I never did.  So, a couple weeks later, I went to look for the Batman figure but he was no where to be found.  For months, he has been missing.  I had already given up.

Yesterday, when I was packing up some books I found my long-lost Batman action figure in the box I was using.  The box originally held some of my other books at one time and was going to be thrown away.  Batman almost when to the recycle bin–to be crushed and burned and maybe worse! He was rescued by pure luck.
