I was reminded almost instantly after seeing the cover of this comic book of the exercise we use in the Army–a painful forward progressing deep knee bend exercise.

This comic book is definitely a era book–no where but the 1980s would you find a truck driver and motorcycle story–with a guy with a headband.  It is something interesting.  I enjoyed seeing a little more information on “Wide-Load”  the mother figure for U.S.  I think it was a good idea to develop here story a little more.  I still can’t get over the fact that the writers actually named her Wide Load Annie.
