I don’t really know if I made my largest comic book purchase ever–but it sure felt like it.  I may have bought more from Rick’s Comics when I came home from Iraq. But, this week’s shipment was a close rival. 

On Friday, I picked up a long awaited package of comic books to fill in some of the gaps in my collection.  I can’t wait for the chance to read them all–one day–if I dream hard enough.  But, getting them in the collection is definitely part of the fun knowing I have hit certain bench marks, and being able to set new ones.  I think that is part of the enjoyment of collecting is simply the acquiring.

Maybe in twenty or thirty years or so, when I get out of the army, I can set up my collection with ease–not moving boxes around the closet just to keep them organized.
