Personal Recovery

The PS Magazine guys do a great job of breaking down the common sense approach to personal recovery, if a soldier is ever separated from his/her unit.  Is it an exhaustive discussion, no–there are plenty of manuals and training aids to help with that.  PS Magazine does what it is designed to do–give a quick overview and tips to help.  Once again PS Magazine provide a reminder of a topic that is sometimes overlooked or blown over.  It is a good reminder.  It is good training.

The art of Joe Kubert provides an excellent cover for this months edition.  He has taken an image and made the cover personalized to the reader.  I truly enjoy these “Hoohah” covers rather than the cartoony covers, that make the cover look like Mad or even Archie.  I tend to take my comic books seriously, but, I also believe that the cartoony covers cheapen the contnet by making them less serious.
