In the third issue of U.S. 1, the Highwayman comes to visit!

He walks in, dressed as an old man, and tells the tale of this dreaded terror of the road.  Unfortunately, U.S. caught up with this old man and then, as the Highwayman, he tries to kill him.

Several things strike me as odd.

First, if the Highwayman is so Ancient–why has no one heard of him until he starts to kill U.S.

Second, why does the Highwayman go and seek out U.S.?  There really is no reason, except that U.S. is asking questions about him.  I smell a rat in the story.

On a more critical not–this issue should have been placed as #2.  When #2 is written and read–no one has an idea about the Highway.  This issue does give you more information.

I think that with all of the flaws, one must always remember that this is just plain fun–start sharpshooting and enjoy the ride.
