I was able to take a moment this week to stop all that I am doing–and read.  Comic Books, yes–I read about 10 in an evening.  I was away from home leading a retreat for single soldiers.

I find it important to get away once and awhile–away from the craziness of life and stop.  To slip into a world of Superheroes where good always prevails and anything can happen.  It is why I love comic books.

Comic books shouldn’t be an obligation–it should be fun.  But we sometimes have to force ourselves away from all that is going on around us and stop.

And read.

And rest.

And dream.
