One fun aspect of looking through old comics is browsing the ads.  This ad was found in Teen Titans #8, from 1981. 

I wonder if any of the “Charter Members” are still members.  Do they still receive their poster, newsletter, and iron -on? The dues are only the price of one comic book today–cheap!  DC needs to start a club like this again.  Maybe, they can get all of the old members back and charge new people the $3 enrollment fee.  It would be fun. Or simply just a waste of time.

I miss stuff like this in comics today.  Maybe if they marketed to younger readers, they would get younger readers again.
