Today, I picked up the latest Teen Titans comic. #43: Teen Titans: East.
It looks like the Teen Titans have their own Civil War brewing. We see the arrival of the Evil Drug Induced and Misguided team, led by Deathstroke. After #42, I was sceptical of what DC would produce. But, I was quite impressed with this book. The story flowed well and kept me interested.
The book also introduced some new characters. I had a good first impression of Sungirl–I liked this quote; “My name is Sungirl. I burn stuff.” I thought that was funny, I don’t know why that impressed me. Maybe it was because she had just burnt a martian.
I think that the Teen Titans recovered from the disaster of #42. There is so much in the book, but mainly just a whole lot of fun.

i liked this one. of course, my dear inertia only had about two pages of book time, but he still managed to spit out the coolest line:
i was going to follow bart’s lead and call myself kid zoom, but screw it. i’m sticking with inertia.
oooooh*wibbles* HE IS SO COOL! and evil, BUT MOSTLY COOL!
